The Benefits of Working at UCB

Personal Development and Leadership

At UCB, employees are empowered to drive their own performance, training and development by setting "smart" objectives, taking into account company goals and employee aspirations. Performance is managed through continuous dialogue between the employee and manager with mentoring and development programmes available.

Leadership in all employees, not just managers, is actively encouraged at UCB to build a high-performance culture. To train and develop leadership skills, we offer a number of programmes designed to:

  • Help employees understand their styles and strengths, and the skills they need to develop
  • Enable them to facilitate and implement change in the organisation

  • Encourage them to take ownership of initiatives
  • Develop their capacity to lead teams successfully towards shared objectives

In addition to leadership training, UCB has a comprehensive learning and development portfolio to support employee development, alongside other programmes such as mentoring, coaching and international assignments.
